Frank Gerome |
|
Frank is a Partner with STARTech Early Ventures,
a seed-stage venture capital firm. He is
responsible for managing the medical technology
and healthcare investment activity at STARTech.
While serving as the healthcare/medical
technology partner at STARTech, Frank has been
active as an independent management and business
strategy advisor and interim executive focusing
on startup and turnaround engagements. Recent
assignments have included interim CEO of
Endothelix, Inc. and CFO of Reata
Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Frank’s career includes positions as President
of a contract manufacturing company serving the
telecommunications, medical, and consumer goods
marketplaces; Operations Vice President of a
medical device manufacturer with operations in
the US and UK; and General Manager of the
biomedical business unit of McGaw, Inc.
Frank is a member of the Texas Higher Education
Coordinating Board’s (THECB) Advisory Committee
of Research Projects (ACORP), a member of the
Board of Directors of BIODFW, and a member of
the Board of Directors of the Dallas-Fort Worth
Health Industry Council.
Frank Gerome holds a BS degree from the
University of Southern California and an MBA
from Pepperdine University. He served as an
officer in United States Navy following
graduation from college. |
